After more than a decade in the accounting industry, I realised just how many small businesses were struggling to keep on top of their books. Whether it was overdue VAT returns, messy records, or simply not having the time to manage the financial admin, business owners were feeling overwhelmed — and that’s where I knew I could help.
I started SL Bookkeeping Services to offer a friendly, approachable alternative to larger firms. My aim is to provide reliable bookkeeping with clear communication, no jargon, and a personal touch. You’ll always know exactly what’s happening with your accounts, and you’ll have someone in your corner who genuinely cares about your business.

SL Bookkeeping Services is fully qualified, insured, and regulated, giving you peace of mind that your finances are in safe hands.
I hold both the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting and the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, providing a strong foundation in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance. I am also a Xero Certified Adviser, allowing me to support businesses with cloud bookkeeping software, setup, training, and ongoing management.
To protect clients at all times, SL Bookkeeping Services is fully covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance and is AML supervised by HMRC, meeting all UK regulatory requirements for bookkeeping services. I am also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), ensuring your data is handled securely and in line with data protection regulations.
